‘Jersey Shore’ Star Deena Cortese Slays in a Bikini Just 5 Months After Giving Birth

No meatballs in sight! Just five months after giving birth to her first child, Deena Cortese is looking happier and healthier than ever. Of course, snapping back after pregnancy is a big topic among new mothers. With that, tons of people began to inquire about Deena’s diet and fitness plan.

“Please tell me your secret on snapping back! My son is about to be 2 years old and I still look like I just gave birth,” one mama wrote. “You look amazing! What are you doing to say so fit? So beautiful!” added another.

“For people asking what she’s doing all you need to do is walk and watch what you eat … I had a baby in November and am already down 50 pounds just from walking the dog every night and trying not to eat a lot of junk,” someone responded. Helpful? Yes. A little rude? Also, yes.

Beyond fawning over the Jersey Shore alum’s figure, some of Deena’s followers (read: trolls) thought it was shady that she wasn’t wearing a bathing suit from Snooki’s store, The Snooki Shop. No … we’re not kidding.

“Cute … but I like the ones from The Snooki Shop much better,” someone wrote, along with a winking emoji. “What? You didn’t buy from The Snooki Shop??” echoed another. Y’all, it’s a bikini, it’s not that serious.

Speaking of things that are serious, though, we are dying to know when Deena and her hubby, Chris Buckner, are going to have baby No. 2! After all, we bet little CJ would love, love, love to have a little brother or sister.

While we don’t have an *exact* date, we do know that another baby is very much in the cards for the pair. “Oh definitely!” Deena told Life & Style of her plans to have a bigger family.

“Well, I want to have time with [CJ] and we want to appreciate him, but we were thinking we want our kids to be close in age,” she continued. “So, maybe a year and a half and then start trying again, but the first year and a half, we want to give all our attention to CJ.”

Hmmm, as of July it will be a full six months since CJ was born. You guys know what that means … only six more until she and Chris seemingly start trying again. How exciting!

Thankfully, Deena had a fairly easy pregnancy the first time around. “The second trimester was amazing and then the third trimester [has] been good. I was a little sick,” Deena admitted in November 2018.

“I had an upper respiratory infection, but it’s finally getting better. I’m starting to get tired again and they said that was going to happen once the third trimester hits, but besides that, I’m doing good,” she noted at the time.
