Julian’s paternal grandfather was Rocco J. Sergi (the son of Vincenzo “Vincent” Sergi and Maria “Mary” Delfino). Rocco was born in New York, to Italian parents. Vincenzo was born in Calabria, the son of Rocco Sergi and Domenica Canniniti. Maria was the daughter of Filippo Delfino and Maria Donato.

Julian’s paternal grandmother was Frances Barbieri (the daughter of Frank Barbieri and Teresa/Theresa LaGumina). Frances was born in New York, to parents from Italy.
